Steven Siciliano

CEO & Co-Founder

As CEO of LiORA, Dr. Steven Siciliano brings his experience as one of the world’s foremost soil scientists to the task of helping clients to efficiently achieve their remediation goals. Dr. Siciliano is passionate about developing and applying enhanced instrumentation for continuous site monitoring and systems that turn that data into actionable decisions for clients.

He is a leading authority on remediation of cold region soils and his research in this area is changing how industry accomplishes the necessary work of remediation. Dr. Siciliano has made significant contributions to the progress of environmental and soil science with 11 book chapters and 220 scientific papers which have collectively been cited over 17,000 times.

Dr. Siciliano graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) with a PhD in Toxicology. In addition to leading LiORA, he is a Professor at the U of S and NSERC Chair for In Situ Remediation.

Nick Gray

COO

Nick is the Chief Operating Officer at LiORA, with over a decade of experience building products and operations that have reached more than 100 million users and driven nine-figure revenue growth. Previously at companies like Humi, Drop, and Roadmunk, Nick has successfully launched new business lines, navigated strategic partnerships, and guided organizations through growth and exits. His expertise spans product innovation, operational strategy, and scaling businesses from concept to market leadership. Nick is passionate about mentoring entrepreneurs and driving innovations that restore the world's soils, believing that impactful technology can help solve our planet's most pressing challenges.

Carolyn Inglis

Director of Business Development

Carolyn Inglis has more than 15 years of customer liaison experience and corporate relationship building in the environmental, energy, resource management, and commercial real estate sectors.

She was born and raised in Calgary, AB, although her studies brought her out to Halifax, NS. Carolyn has always pursued working in fields promoting positive change and assuring responsible resource development. Her career highlights in the Environmental industry include growing companies in environmental consulting, analytical chemistry and big data, and supporting the practical applications of new technologies in these fields.

Carolyn is a certified yoga teacher and tenured marathon runner. The majority of her time outside of work is spent pursuing those passions, adventuring with her dog, exploring with friends, and connecting with family. She is proud to be part of such an incredibly smart and impactful team, and strongly believes in the game-changing technology that LiORA offers.

Carolyn graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and International Development.

Chelsea Voinorosky

Director of Operations

Chelsea Voinorosky blends her academic background with practical expertise in environmental science, legislation, and communication. Her work spans conducting rigorous fieldwork, developing advanced analytical methods, and establishing safety protocols, contributing significantly to environmental sustainability. Throughout her graduate studies, she employed novel approaches to study the effects of herbicide on habitat quality, herbicide efficacy, and boreal plant community diversity that demonstrated her commitment to holistic solutions.

At LiORA, she leads with a focus on innovative environmental solutions, leveraging her skills in multidisciplinary collaboration and conveying complex concepts to a wide audience. Her understanding of the interplay between human activities, environmental impact, and legislative frameworks has been key to guiding the company’s strategic goals and enhancing its client services.

Chelsea graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Toxicology. While conducting graduate studies she also worked as a teaching assistant at the U of S.

Allan MacGregor

Head of Software Engineering

Allan MacGregor is the Head of Software Engineering at LiORA, with 18 years of experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams. Previously CTO at Humi, Allan guided its technology strategy through rapid growth and a successful acquisition. His expertise includes fintech, compliance technologies, and building highly scalable systems and teams. Allan is passionate about developing robust software solutions and fostering a culture of pragmatic innovation and engineering excellence.

Kevin Harder

Director of Finance

Kevin Harder plays a pivotal role in steering the financial helm of LiORA. With an impressive background in managing accounting and administration, Kevin is adept at enhancing financial procedures and delivering results of the highest quality. His expertise, particularly in the realms of startups, showcases a unique blend of strategic financial management and innovative thinking.

In the dynamic field of environmental technology, Kevin’s skills in budgeting, forecasting, and key performance indicators are invaluable. His leadership in capital raising and implementing internal controls reflects a deep understanding of both the financial and operational needs of a tech and hardware-based environmental soil sense company. Kevin’s contribution is crucial not just in driving financial success, but also in supporting the company’s mission to innovate and make a lasting impact in the environmental sector.

Kevin graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and received his CA designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accounts. He also has a Business Analysis Certificate from York University.
